ALMONDS

Almonds have the highest fibre content of any nut and are anti-inflammatory. They contain many protective nutrients including calcium & magnesium which contribute to normal muscle function and build strong bones. Vitamin E is a highly effective antioxidant (protects cells) and is beneficial for maintaining healthy hair, skin and nails.

 

CHIA

At 20% protein chia exceeds that of all other grains and seeds. A rich source of both soluble and insoluble fibre and a natural source of antioxidants.

Gram for gram chia has 8x more Omega 3 than salmon! 4x the antioxidants of blueberries, 5x more calcium than milk, 7x more vitamin C than oranges, 3x more iron than spinach, 2x the potassium content of a banana.

 

ORGANIC COCOA (CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR ONLY)

A high concentration of antioxidants that help cells repair themselves and stay healthy. Cocoa contains many nutrients such as magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and vitamin C.  Not only does Cocoa taste rich and delicious, evidence points to the use of raw cocoa in a medicinal capacity for over two thousand years.

 

COCONUT (EXTRA IN COCONUT FLAVOUR)

Coconut Flour contains more dietary fibre than wheat bran 
and provides a good source of protein. It's highly nutritious and rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals.

 

FLAX SEED (COLD GROUND)

Flaxseeds are a great source of fibre, lignans, protein, omega 3, vitamins and minerals. Omega3, (ALA) alpha linolenic acid may help to reduce inflammation, keep bones healthy, protect heart health, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The soluble fibre in flax helps move food through the digestive tract efficiently and aids in the regulation of blood glucose by slowing the release of sugar from foods. It helps lower cholesterol, especially LDL, or bad cholesterol.

 

PISTACHIO (PISTACHIO FLAVOUR ONLY)

Big on nutrition and beneficial phytonutrients, in fact they have the highest level of phytosterols in any nut. They’re also an excellent source of vitamin B6 and contain thiamin, folate, biotin and riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid are a good source of fiber and protein with an excellent amino acid profile.

 

PUMPKIN SEEDS

Pumpkin seeds contain an abundance of nutrients and protein with an exceptional amino acid profile, unsaturated fatty acids, and a wealth of minerals such as calcium, potassium, niacin, and phosphorous. They are high in most of the B vitamins, and vitamins C, D, E, and K. Rich in beta-carotene that can be converted into vitamin A as needed by the body, and also rich in the eye protective carotenoid lutein.

Pumpkin seeds offer a wealth of health benefits and the high zinc content adds to their protective virtues.  Anti-inflammatory with high levels of phytosterols that enhance the immune system response.

The oil in pumpkin seeds has an excellent ratio of Omega3 to Omega6 fatty acids. This ratio is important for cellular function and oxygenation. They help to keep hair glossy, skin clear, and energy levels high.

 

SESAME SEEDS (WHOLE)

Sesame Seeds are packed full of antioxidants and contain high levels of health benefiting phenolic anti-oxidants.  One of the first oil seeds known to humankind, sesame seeds are used in culinary as well as in traditional medicines for their nutritive, preventive, and curative properties particularly in ayurvedic medicine. The seeds are especially rich in monounsaturated oleic acid, Omega 9’s to the rest of us. Oleic acid helps to lower LDL or "bad cholesterol" and increase HDL or "good cholesterol" in the blood.

The seeds are also very good source of dietary proteins with fine quality amino acids that are essential for growth. They are very good sources of B-complex vitamins such as niacin, folic acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and riboflavin. a good source of Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Copper and Manganese.

 

WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE (triple filtered from UK milk)

NO PLANT BASED PROTEIN SOURCES COME CLOSE TO WHEY IN TERMS OF USABLE PROTEIN. BECAUSE WHEY IS EASILY DIGESTED YOUR BODY CAN USE THE PROTEIN IT CONTAINS. THIS IS NOT THE SAME FOR PLANT BASED PROTEINS WHICH IS ONE REASON WHY WE DON'T USE THEM!

APPLE PECTIN

Used by our recent ancestors to thicken jams naturally, apple pectin is a soluble fiber which is essential for a healthy diet. Soluble fibre is thought to lower cholesterol by reducing the amount of it that is absorbed in the intestines.

PSYLLIUM HUSK

Soluble dietary fibre. Psyllium Seeds and their husks have long been enlisted for great digestive function, which aids regular bowel movement.

INACTIVE BREWERS YEAST

Is a fantastic source for B complex vitamins and many other important brain functioning nutrients. Brewers yeast is a strong antioxidant and a great source of chromium. It contains all of the essential amino acids needed to build and repair tissues, bones, muscles and cartilage. Several studies have found brewers yeast can lower the levels of bad cholesterol and raise levels of good cholesterol.

Not to be confused with Bakers Yeast, it is completely inactive and can not be ‘re-activated’ in the gut. Supports your body’s metabolism and energy production.

STEVIA

We delicately sweeten our products with this natural sweetener. If anything we under sweeten our products as our aim is to help you get rid of your sweet tooth.
